Corsica confirms that it is a Chess stronghold.
Major international competitions are organized there, each year, in which about one hundred Grand Masters and International Masters of about fifty nationalities participate!
With a global endowment of 160 000 € thanks to the sponsorship of about fifty companies. Some of which are internationally renowned such as Oscaro, Orezza, Coca Cola, BNP Paribas...
450 other tournaments are organized on the island. Especially at school level. 7,000 players are concerned, including a thousand from some forty countries!

La Corse confirme qu'elle est une place forte échiquéenne.
 

De grandes compétitions internationales y sont organisées, chaque année,  auxquelles participent une centaine de Grand Maitres et Maitres internationaux en provenance d'une cinquantaine de nationalités !

Avec une dotation globale de 160 000 € grâce au sponsoring d'une cinquantaine d'entreprises. Dont certaines de renommées internationales comme Oscaro, Orezza, Coca Cola, BNP Paribas...

450 autres tournois sont organisés dans l'île. En particulier au niveau des scolaires. 7 000 joueurs sont concernés dont un millier en provenance d'une quarantaine de Pays !
